Maintenance Technician

Skills/Requirements

  • Proven experience as general laborer/contractor – Clean work, not sloppy jobs.
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools.
  • Experience/Training in general carpentry to include but not limited to:
    • Patching holes in walls, mudding, taping, painting, etc.
    • Replace outlets, switches, light fixtures, fuses, etc.
  • Lawn Mowing / Snow Removal
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and dexterity. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. multiple times during the day.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade training a plus
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test for illegal drugs.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Project Manager

This will be a supervisory role. You will be responsible for managing and training a team of trained laborers. You will assign tasks from work orders, follow up and ensure proper completion. Must be able to manage information through computer software and smart phone aps. Must be technologically savvy. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and good working technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking) a must. Excellent organizational skills a must.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, broken doors or windows, filling gaps on walls, painting etc.
  • Install/Move appliances and equipment.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, window screens, and fixtures.
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarms).
  • Replace electrical fixtures to include but not limited to: Outlets, Lights, fuses.
  • Basic repairs to appliances, dishwashers, washers, dryers, stoves, ovens, etc.
